As summer is approaching, I know both teachers and parents are scrambling to find resources that will help students prevent summer learning loss while they are out of school. As I mentioned in my last post, when I was in elementary school I remember completing those Summer Bridge Workbooks to help keep my mind “fresh” and continue learning throughout each summer. My mother would sit down with me each day to complete several pages. I hated it. If I had an engaging platform like Homer Learning, I know I would have enjoyed my “summer academic time” a heck of a lot more!
